Gopal Acharya, has pursued his master’s degree in Political Science and English Education from Tribhuvan University. He is working as an Associated Research Fellow at Center for Legal and Social Affairs Policy in Policy Research Institute.

Acharya has over eighteen years of professional experience in the field of research; working with various private/non-governmental, and public/government institutions. He collected eight years of dedicated experience in research management, quality assurance and accreditation of higher education at the University Grants Commission Nepal.

He served as an analyst at the Policy Research Institute for four years, focusing his career on research management and policy research. He has authored and published seven books on academic and contemporary issues, edited a multi-disciplinary peer-reviewed journal, and has contributed research-based articles to various national journals. With his diverse expertise and research experience, Acharya has made individual and collaborative contributions to the publication of more than a dozen research reports across different sectors including education, health and legal affairs.
